Painting

Quick Tip: Woodgraining

Woodgraining is an artist's technique for creating the look of fine woods like mahogany. After two coats of a base color, brush on a mixture of colored tint with glazing liquid. Feather a darker glaze into the wet ground to simulate flame mahogany. Blend with a soft badger brush. Finish by rubbing in bowling alley wax with fine steel wool.
